# Monitor status

The Hardy Index is checked every day. Each morning every source the dataset cites is fetched, and a profile is marked as reviewed only if all of its citations still resolve. This page is the record of those checks.

- **Last check:** 2 October 2026. 30 of 31 profiles re-verified, 78 of 79 sources resolving.
- **Ratings last changed:** 19 August 2026.
- **Latest changelog entry:** 19 August 2026.
- **Days on record:** 21, from 12 September 2026.

If the last check above is more than 3 days old, the monitor has stopped and this page is out of date.

## What a check covers, and what it does not

A check confirms that the evidence behind every rating is still published and still reachable. It does not re-read each profile and it does not change a score. Score changes are made editorially, with a source, and are listed in the changelog at https://hardyindex.com/changelog.

A day is shown as partial when a source did not resolve. The profiles that cite it keep their previous review date until it does.
